[Buildroot] Buildroot restore problem

Dear Friends,

I am using buildroot-20071012 for arm architecture. I have made an custom
application "testapp" and I place it under
"buildroot/project_build_arm/uclibc/root/home/testapp". After doing make
command the image created successfully and it has testapp. Now  when I
replace the custom binary with new one it restores the old one back. I am
just using the normal make command to build the rootfs jffs2 image.
Can anyone advice me where I am making the mistake?
